Chapter 10

25Joshua then said to them, 'Do not fear or be dismayed! Be strong and courageous, for the Lord will do this to all your enemies with whom you fight.' 26So afterward Joshua struck them and put them to death, and he hanged them on five trees; and they were hung on the trees until evening.

25And Joshua said unto them, Fear not, nor be dismayed, be strong and of good courage: for thus shall the Lord do to all your enemies against whom ye fight. 26And afterward Joshua smote them, and slew them, and hanged them on five trees: and they were hanging upon the trees until the evening.

25Joshua said to them, "Do not be afraid or discouraged. Be strong and courageous, for the Lord will do this to all the enemies you fight."
26After this, Joshua struck them down and executed them. He hung their bodies on five trees and they were there until evening.
