Job 19:6-15

New American Standard Bible

Chapter 19

6 Know then that God has wronged me And has surrounded me with His net. 7 'Behold, I cry, ‘Violence!’ but I get no answer; I shout for help, but there is no justice. 8 He has blocked my way so that I cannot pass, And He has put darkness on my paths. 9 He has stripped my honor from me And removed the crown from my head. 10 He breaks me down on every side, and I am gone; And He has uprooted my hope like a tree. 11 He has also kindled His anger against me And considered me as His enemy. 12 His troops come together And build up their way against me And camp around my tent. 13 'He has removed my brothers far from me, And my acquaintances have completely turned away from me. 14 My relatives have failed, And my close friends have forgotten me. 15 Those who live in my house and my servant women consider me a stranger. I am a foreigner in their sight.
King James Version

Chapter 19

6 Know now that God hath overthrown me, and hath compassed me with his net. 7 Behold, I cry out of wrong, but I am not heard: I cry aloud, but there is no judgment.
8 He hath fenced up my way that I cannot pass, and he hath set darkness in my paths. 9 He hath stripped me of my glory, and taken the crown from my head. 10 He hath destroyed me on every side, and I am gone: and mine hope hath he removed like a tree. 11 He hath also kindled his wrath against me, and he counteth me unto him as one of his enemies. 12 His troops come together, and raise up their way against me, and encamp round about my tabernacle. 13 He hath put my brethren far from me, and mine acquaintance are verily estranged from me. 14 My kinsfolk have failed, and my familiar friends have forgotten me. 15 They that dwell in mine house, and my maids, count me for a stranger: I am an alien in their sight.

6 But it is God who has wronged me, capturing me in his net.
7 'I cry out, 'Help!' but no one answers me. I protest, but there is no justice. 8 God has blocked my way so I cannot move. He has plunged my path into darkness. 9 He has stripped me of my honor and removed the crown from my head. 10 He has demolished me on every side, and I am finished. He has uprooted my hope like a fallen tree. 11 His fury burns against me; he counts me as an enemy. 12 His troops advance. They build up roads to attack me. They camp all around my tent.
13 'My relatives stay far away, and my friends have turned against me. 14 My family is gone, and my close friends have forgotten me. 15 My servants and maids consider me a stranger. I am like a foreigner to them.

Chapter 19

6 know then that God has put me in the wrong and closed his net about me. 7 Behold, I cry out, ‘Violence!’ but I am not answered; I call for help, but there is no justice. 8 He has walled up my way, so that I cannot pass, and he has set darkness upon my paths. 9 He has stripped from me my glory and taken the crown from my head. 10 He breaks me down on every side, and I am gone, and my hope has he pulled up like a tree. 11 He has kindled his wrath against me and counts me as his adversary. 12 His troops come on together; they have cast up their siege ramp against me and encamp around my tent. 13 “He has put my brothers far from me, and those who knew me are wholly estranged from me. 14 My relatives have failed me, my close friends have forgotten me. 15 The guests in my house and my maidservants count me as a stranger; I have become a foreigner in their eyes.

Chapter 19

7 He aquí, yo clamaré agravio, y no seré oído; Daré voces, y no habrá juicio.
