Chapter 5
8 They were well-fed lusty horses, Each one neighing at his neighbor’s wife. 9 Shall I not punish them for these things?' declares the LORD, 'And shall I not avenge Myself On a nation such as this? 10 'Go up through her vine rows and destroy, But do not execute a complete destruction; Strip away her branches, For they are not the LORD’S. 11 For the house of Israel and the house of Judah Have dealt very treacherously with Me,' declares the LORD.King James Version

8 They are well-fed, eager stallions, each neighing after someone else's wife.

Should I not punish them for these things? This is the Lord's declaration. Should I not avenge myself on such a nation as this?

Go up among her vineyard terraces and destroy them, but do not finish them off. Prune away her shoots, for they do not belong to the Lord.

They, the house of Israel and the house of Judah, have dealt very treacherously with me. This is the Lord's declaration.
