Chapter 51

5For neither Israel nor Judah has been forsaken By his God, the Lord of armies, Although their land is full of guilt Before the Holy One of Israel. 6Flee from the midst of Babylon, And each of you save his life! Do not perish in her punishment, For this is the Lord’S time of vengeance; He is going to repay to her what she deserves.

5For Israel hath not been forsaken, nor Judah of his God, of the Lord of hosts; though their land was filled with sin against the Holy One of Israel.
6Flee out of the midst of Babylon, and deliver every man his soul: be not cut off in her iniquity; for this is the time of the Lord'S vengeance; he will render unto her a recompence.
