New American Standard Bible
Chapter 33
2This is what the Lord says, He who made the earth, the Lord who formed it to create it, He whose name is the Lord: 3‘Call to Me and I will answer you, and I will tell you great and mighty things, which you do not know.’ 4For this is what the Lord, the God of Israel says concerning the houses of this city, and concerning the houses of the kings of Judah which have been torn down to make a defense against the assault ramps and the sword: 5‘While they are coming to fight the Chaldeans and to fill their houses with the bodies of people whom I have struck down in My anger and My wrath, and I have hidden My face from this city because of all their wickedness: 6Behold, I am going to bring to it healing and a remedy, and I will heal them; and I will reveal to them an abundance of peace and truth. 7And I will restore the fortunes of Judah and the fortunes of Israel, and will rebuild them as they were at first. 8And I will cleanse them from all their wrongdoing by which they have sinned against Me, and I will forgive all their wrongdoings by which they have sinned against Me and revolted against Me.King James Version
Chapter 33
2Thus saith the LORD the maker thereof, the LORD that formed it, to establish it; the LORD is his name; 3Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not. 4For thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel, concerning the houses of this city, and concerning the houses of the kings of Judah, which are thrown down by the mounts, and by the sword; 5They come to fight with the Chaldeans, but it is to fill them with the dead bodies of men, whom I have slain in mine anger and in my fury, and for all whose wickedness I have hid my face from this city. 6Behold, I will bring it health and cure, and I will cure them, and will reveal unto them the abundance of peace and truth. 7And I will cause the captivity of Judah and the captivity of Israel to return, and will build them, as at the first. 8And I will cleanse them from all their iniquity, whereby they have sinned against me; and I will pardon all their iniquities, whereby they have sinned, and whereby they have transgressed against me.Christian Standard Bible
Chapter 33
2"The Lord who made the earth, the Lord who forms it to establish it, the Lord is his name, says this: 3Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and incomprehensible things you do not know. 4For this is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says concerning the houses of this city and the palaces of Judah's kings, the ones torn down for defense against the assault ramps and the sword: 5The people coming to fight the Chaldeans will fill the houses with the corpses of their own men that I strike down in my wrath and fury. I have hidden my face from this city because of all their evil. 6Yet I will certainly bring health and healing to it and will indeed heal them. I will let them experience the abundance of true peace. 7I will restore the fortunes of Judah and of Israel and will rebuild them as in former times. 8I will purify them from all the iniquity they have committed against me, and I will forgive all the iniquities they have committed against me, rebelling against me.New Living Translation
Chapter 33
2This is what the Lord says — the Lord who made the earth, who formed and established it, whose name is the Lord: 3Ask me and I will tell you remarkable secrets you do not know about things to come. 4For this is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: You have torn down the houses of this city and even the king’s palace to get materials to strengthen the walls against the siege ramps and swords of the enemy. 5You expect to fight the Babylonians, but the men of this city are already as good as dead, for I have determined to destroy them in my terrible anger. I have abandoned them because of all their wickedness.English Standard Version

I will hide my face from this city because of all its wickedness.
6'Nevertheless, I will bring health and healing to it; I will heal my people and will let them enjoy abundant peace and security.

Chapter 33
2“Thus says the Lord who made it, the Lord who formed it to establish it (the Lord is His name): 3‘Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.’
4“For thus says the Lord, the God of Israel, concerning the houses of this city and the houses of the kings of Judah, which have been pulled down to fortify against the siege mounds and the sword:
5‘They come to fight with the Chaldeans, but only to fill their places with the dead bodies of men whom I will slay in My anger and My fury, all for whose wickedness I have hidden My face from this city.
6Behold, I will bring it health and healing; I will heal them and reveal to them the abundance of peace and truth.
7And I will cause the captives of Judah and the captives of Israel to return, and will rebuild those places as at the first.
8I will cleanse them from all their iniquity by which they have sinned against Me, and I will pardon all their iniquities by which they have sinned and by which they have transgressed against Me.
