Jeremiah 31:29-30
New American Standard Bible
Chapter 31
29
'In those days they will no longer say,
‘The fathers have eaten sour grapes,
But
it is
the children’s teeth
that
have become blunt.’
30
But everyone will die for his own wrongdoing; each person who eats the sour grapes, his
own
teeth will become blunt.
King James Version
Chapter 31
29
In those days they shall say no more, The fathers have eaten a sour grape, and the children's teeth are set on edge.

But every one shall die for his own iniquity: every man that eateth the sour grape, his teeth shall be set on edge.
Christian Standard Bible
Chapter 31
29
"In those days, it will never again be said, 'The fathers have eaten sour grapes, and the children's teeth are set on edge.'

Rather, each will die for his own iniquity. Anyone who eats sour grapes--his own teeth will be set on edge.
New Living Translation

‘The parents have eaten sour grapes,
but their children’s mouths pucker at the taste.’
30
All people will die for their own sins — those who eat the sour grapes will be the ones whose mouths will pucker.
English Standard Version

New International Version
