As for
the prophet who prophesies of peace, when the word of the prophet comes to pass, then that prophet will be known
as
one whom the
Lord
has truly sent.'

Then Hananiah the prophet took the yoke from the neck of Jeremiah the prophet and broke it.

The prophet which prophesieth of peace, when the word of the prophet shall come to pass,
then
shall the prophet be known, that the LORD hath truly sent him.

Then Hananiah the prophet took the yoke from off the prophet Jeremiah's neck, and brake it.

As for the prophet who prophesies peace--only when the word of the prophet comes true will the prophet be recognized as one the Lord has truly sent."

The prophet Hananiah then took the yoke bar from the neck of the prophet Jeremiah and broke it.

So a prophet who predicts peace must show he is right. Only when his predictions come true can we know that he is really from the
Lord

Then Hananiah the prophet took the yoke off Jeremiah’s neck and broke it in pieces.
