Jeremiah 27:15-17
New American Standard Bible
16Then I spoke to the priests and to all this people, saying: 'This is what the Lord says: ‘Do not listen to the words of your prophets who prophesy to you, saying, 'Behold, the vessels of the Lord’S house will now shortly be brought back from Babylon'; for they are prophesying a lie to you.
17Do not listen to them; serve the king of Babylon, and live! Why should this city become a place of ruins?

15For I have not sent them, saith the LORD, yet they prophesy a lie in my name; that I might drive you out, and that ye might perish, ye, and the prophets that prophesy unto you. 16Also I spake to the priests and to all this people, saying, Thus saith the LORD; Hearken not to the words of your prophets that prophesy unto you, saying, Behold, the vessels of the LORD's house shall now shortly be brought again from Babylon: for they prophesy a lie unto you. 17Hearken not unto them; serve the king of Babylon, and live: wherefore should this city be laid waste?Christian Standard Bible
16Then I spoke to the priests and all these people, saying, "This is what the Lord says: 'Do not listen to the words of your prophets. They are prophesying to you, claiming, "Look, very soon now the articles of the Lord's temple will be brought back from Babylon." They are prophesying a lie to you.
17Do not listen to them. Serve the king of Babylon and live! Why should this city become a ruin?

16Then I spoke to the priests and the people and said, 'This is what the Lord says: ‘Do not listen to your prophets who claim that soon the gold articles taken from my Temple will be returned from Babylon. It is all a lie!
17Do not listen to them. Surrender to the king of Babylon, and you will live. Why should this whole city be destroyed?
