18Moreover, the Lord made it known to me and I knew it; Then You showed me their deeds. 19But I was like a gentle lamb led to the slaughter; And I did not know that they had devised plots against me, saying, 'Let’s destroy the tree with its fruit, And let’s cut him off from the land of the living, So that his name will no longer be remembered.'King James Version
Chapter 11
18And the LORD hath given me knowledge of it, and I know it: then thou shewedst me their doings. 19But I was like a lamb or an ox that is brought to the slaughter; and I knew not that they had devised devices against me, saying, Let us destroy the tree with the fruit thereof, and let us cut him off from the land of the living, that his name may be no more remembered. 20But, O LORD of hosts, that judgest righteously, that triest the reins and the heart, let me see thy vengeance on them: for unto thee have I revealed my cause.Christian Standard Bible
Chapter 11
18The Lord informed me, so I knew. Then you helped me to see their deeds, 19for I was like a docile lamb led to slaughter. I didn't know that they had devised plots against me: "Let's destroy the tree with its fruit; let's cut him off from the land of the living so that his name will no longer be remembered." 20But, Lord of Armies, who judges righteously, who tests heart and mind, let me see your vengeance on them, for I have presented my case to you.New Living Translation
