Hosea 7:1-4
New American Standard Bible
Chapter 7
1When I would heal Israel, The wrongdoing of Ephraim is uncovered, And the evil deeds of Samaria, For they practice deception; The thief enters, A band of robbers attack outside, 2And they do not consider in their hearts That I remember all their wickedness. Now their deeds surround them; They are before My face. 3With their wickedness they make the king happy, And the officials with their lies. 4They are all adulterers, Like an oven heated by the baker, Who stops stoking the fire From the time the dough is kneaded until it is leavened.King James Version
Chapter 7
1When I would have healed Israel, then the iniquity of Ephraim was discovered, and the wickedness of Samaria: for they commit falsehood; and the thief cometh in, and the troop of robbers spoileth without. 2And they consider not in their hearts that I remember all their wickedness: now their own doings have beset them about; they are before my face. 3They make the king glad with their wickedness, and the princes with their lies. 4They are all adulterers, as an oven heated by the baker, who ceaseth from raising after he hath kneaded the dough, until it be leavened.Christian Standard Bible
Chapter 7
1when I heal Israel, the iniquity of Ephraim and the crimes of Samaria will be exposed. For they practice fraud; a thief breaks in; a raiding party pillages outside. 2But they never consider that I remember all their evil. Now their actions are all around them; they are right in front of my face.New Living Translation

Chapter 7
1When I would heal Israel, the iniquity of Ephraim is revealed, and the evil deeds of Samaria; for they deal falsely; the thief breaks in, and the bandits raid outside. 2But they do not consider that I remember all their evil. Now their deeds surround them; they are before my face. 3By their evil they make the king glad, and the princes by their treachery. 4They are all adulterers; they are like a heated oven whose baker ceases to stir the fire, from the kneading of the dough until it is leavened.New International Version
2but they do not realize that I remember all their evil deeds. Their sins engulf them; they are always before me.
3They delight the king with their wickedness, the princes with their lies.
4They are all adulterers, burning like an oven whose fire the baker need not stir from the kneading of the dough till it rises.
New King James Version
