Ephraim is oppressed, broken
by
judgment,
Because he was determined to follow
man’s

Therefore I am like a moth to Ephraim,
And like rottenness to the house of Judah.

Ephraim is oppressed and broken in judgment, because he willingly walked after the commandment.

Therefore will I be unto Ephraim as a moth, and to the house of Judah as rottenness.

I will destroy Israel as a moth consumes wool.
