Chapter 5
1Hear this, you priests! Pay attention, house of Israel! Listen, you of the house of the king! For the judgment applies to you, Because you have been a trap at Mizpah, And a net spread out on Tabor. 2And the rebels have gone deep in depravity, But I will discipline all of them. 3I know Ephraim, and Israel is not hidden from Me; Because now, Ephraim, you have been unfaithful, Israel has defiled itself. 4Their deeds will not allow them To return to their God. For a spirit of infidelity is within them, And they do not know the Lord.King James Version

1Hear this, priests! Pay attention, house of Israel! Listen, royal house! For the judgment applies to you because you have been a snare at Mizpah and a net spread out on Tabor. 2Rebels are deeply involved in slaughter; I will be a punishment for all of them. 3I know Ephraim, and Israel is not hidden from me. For now, Ephraim, you have acted promiscuously; Israel is defiled. 4Their actions do not allow them to return to their God, for a spirit of promiscuity is among them, and they do not know the Lord.New Living Translation
Chapter 5
1'Hear this, you priests. Pay attention, you leaders of Israel. Listen, you members of the royal family. Judgment has been handed down against you. For you have led the people into a snare by worshiping the idols at Mizpah and Tabor. 2You have dug a deep pit to trap them at Acacia Grove. But I will settle with you for what you have done. 3I know what you are like, O Ephraim. You cannot hide yourself from me, O Israel. You have left me as a prostitute leaves her husband; you are utterly defiled. 4Your deeds won’t let you return to your God. You are a prostitute through and through, and you do not know the Lord.English Standard Version

For the judgment is for you; for you have been a snare at Mizpah and a net spread upon Tabor. 2And the revolters have gone deep into slaughter, but I will discipline all of them. 3 I know Ephraim, and Israel is not hidden from me; for now, O Ephraim, you have played the whore; Israel is defiled. 4 Their deeds do not permit them to return to their God. For the spirit of whoredom is within them, and they know not the Lord.New International Version
