Hosea 11:8-10
New American Standard Bible
Chapter 11
8How can I give you up, Ephraim? How can I surrender you, Israel? How can I make you like Admah? How can I treat you like Zeboiim? My heart is turned over within Me, All My compassions are kindled. 9I will not carry out My fierce anger; I will not destroy Ephraim again. For I am God and not a man, the Holy One in your midst, And I will not come in wrath. 10They will walk after the Lord, He will roar like a lion; Indeed He will roar, And His sons will come trembling from the west.King James Version

My heart is torn within me, and my compassion overflows. 9No, I will not unleash my fierce anger. I will not completely destroy Israel, for I am God and not a mere mortal. I am the Holy One living among you, and I will not come to destroy. 10For someday the people will follow me. I, the Lord, will roar like a lion. And when I roar, my people will return trembling from the west.English Standard Version
