But I will harden Pharaoh’s heart, so that I may multiply My signs and My wonders in the land of Egypt.

When Pharaoh does not listen to you, I will lay My hand on Egypt and bring out My armies, My people the sons of Israel, from the land of Egypt by great judgments.
5
Then the Egyptians shall know that I am the
Lord
, when I extend My hand over Egypt and bring out the sons of Israel from their midst.'
6
So Moses and Aaron did
this;
as the
Lord
commanded them, so they did.
7
And Moses was eighty years old and Aaron eighty-three, when they spoke to Pharaoh.
8
Now the
Lord
spoke to Moses and Aaron, saying,

And I will harden Pharaoh's heart, and multiply my signs and my wonders in the land of Egypt.

But Pharaoh shall not hearken unto you, that I may lay my hand upon Egypt, and bring forth mine armies, and my people the children of Israel, out of the land of Egypt by great judgments.

And the Egyptians shall know that I am the
Lord
, when I stretch forth mine hand upon Egypt, and bring out the children of Israel from among them.
6
And Moses and Aaron did as the
Lord
commanded them, so did they.
7
And Moses was fourscore years old, and Aaron fourscore and three years old, when they spake unto Pharaoh.

And the
Lord
spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying,

Pharaoh will not listen to you, but I will put my hand into Egypt and bring the military divisions of my people the Israelites out of the land of Egypt by great acts of judgment.

Lord
when I stretch out my hand against Egypt and bring out the Israelites from among them."

So Moses and Aaron did this; they did just as the
Lord
commanded them.

Moses was eighty years old and Aaron eighty-three when they spoke to Pharaoh.

But I will make Pharaoh’s heart stubborn so I can multiply my miraculous signs and wonders in the land of Egypt.

Even then Pharaoh will refuse to listen to you. So I will bring down my fist on Egypt. Then I will rescue my forces — my people, the Israelites — from the land of Egypt with great acts of judgment.

When I raise my powerful hand and bring out the Israelites, the Egyptians will know that I am the
Lord
.'

So Moses and Aaron did just as the
Lord
had commanded them.

Moses was eighty years old, and Aaron was eighty-three when they made their demands to Pharaoh.

Lord
said to Moses and Aaron,
