Exodus 39:7-8
New American Standard Bible
Chapter 39
7
And he placed them on the shoulder pieces of the ephod
as
memorial stones for the sons of Israel, just as the
Lord
had commanded Moses.
8
And he made the breastpiece, the work of a skilled embroiderer, like the workmanship of the ephod: of gold
and
of violet, purple, and scarlet
material
and fine twisted linen.
King James Version
Chapter 39
7
And he put them on the shoulders of the ephod,
that they should be
stones for a memorial to the children of Israel; as the LORD commanded Moses.
8
And he made the breastplate
of
cunning work, like the work of the ephod;
of
gold, blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen.
Christian Standard Bible
Chapter 39
7
He fastened them on the shoulder pieces of the ephod as memorial stones for the Israelites, just as the Lord had commanded Moses.
8
He also made the embroidered breastpiece with the same workmanship as the ephod of gold, of blue, purple, and scarlet yarn, and of finely spun linen.
New Living Translation
Chapter 39
7
He fastened these stones on the shoulder-pieces of the ephod as a reminder that the priest represents the people of Israel. All this was done just as the
Lord
had commanded Moses.
8
Bezalel made the chestpiece with great skill and care. He made it to match the ephod, using finely woven linen embroidered with gold and with blue, purple, and scarlet thread.
English Standard Version
Chapter 39
7
And he set them on the shoulder pieces of the ephod to be stones of remembrance for the sons of Israel, as the LORD had commanded Moses.
8
He made the breastpiece, in skilled work, in the style of the ephod, of gold, blue and purple and scarlet yarns, and fine twined linen.
New International Version
Chapter 39
7
Then they fastened them on the shoulder pieces of the ephod as memorial stones for the sons of Israel, as the LORD commanded Moses.
8
They fashioned the breastpiece--the work of a skilled craftsman. They made it like the ephod: of gold, and of blue, purple and scarlet yarn, and of finely twisted linen.
New King James Version
Chapter 39
7
He put them on the shoulders of the ephod
as
memorial stones for the sons of Israel, as the
Lord
had commanded Moses.

And he made the breastplate, artistically woven like the workmanship of the ephod, of gold, blue, purple, and scarlet
thread,
and of fine woven linen.
