Chapter 39
11and the second row, a turquoise, a sapphire, and a diamond; 12and the third row, a jacinth, an agate, and an amethyst; 13and the fourth row, a beryl, an onyx, and a jasper. They were set in gold filigree settings when they were mounted. 14The stones corresponded to the names of the sons of Israel; they were twelve, corresponding to their names, engraved with the engravings of a signet, each with its name for the twelve tribes. 15And they made for the breastpiece chains like cords, work of twisted cords of pure gold. 16They made two gold filigree settings and two gold rings, and put the two rings on the two ends of the breastpiece. 17Then they put the two gold cords in the two rings at the ends of the breastpiece. 18And they put the other two ends of the two cords on the two filigree settings, and put them on the shoulder pieces of the ephod at the front of it. 19They made two gold rings and placed them on the two ends of the breastpiece, on its inner edge which was next to the ephod. 20Furthermore, they made two gold rings and placed them on the bottom of the two shoulder pieces of the ephod, on the front of it, close to the place where it joined, above the woven band of the ephod. 21And they bound the breastpiece by its rings to the rings of the ephod with a violet cord, so that it would be on the woven band of the ephod, and that the breastpiece would not come loose from the ephod, just as the Lord had commanded Moses.
22Then he made the robe of the ephod of woven work, all of violet;
23and the opening of the robe was at the top in the center, as the opening of a coat of mail, with a binding all around its opening, so that it would not be torn.
24And they made pomegranates of violet, purple, and scarlet material and twisted linen on the hem of the robe.
25They also made bells of pure gold, and put the bells between the pomegranates all around on the hem of the robe,
26alternating a bell and a pomegranate all around on the hem of the robe for the service, just as the Lord had commanded Moses.
27They also made the tunics of finely woven linen for Aaron and his sons,
28and the turban of fine linen, and the decorated caps of fine linen, and the linen undergarments of fine twisted linen,
29and the sash of fine twisted linen, and violet, purple, and scarlet material, the work of the weaver, just as the Lord had commanded Moses.
30They also made the plate of the holy crown of pure gold, and inscribed it like the engravings of a signet, 'Holy to the Lord.'
31Then they fastened a violet cord to it, to fasten it on the turban above, just as the Lord had commanded Moses.
32So all the work of the tabernacle of the tent of meeting was completed; and the sons of Israel did according to all that the Lord had commanded Moses; so they did.
33Then they brought the tabernacle to Moses, the tent and all its furnishings: its clasps, its boards, its bars, its pillars, and its bases;
34and the covering of rams’ skins dyed red, and the covering of fine leather, and the covering curtain;
35the ark of the testimony, its poles, and the atoning cover;
36the table, all its utensils, and the bread of the Presence;
37the pure gold lampstand, with its arrangement of lamps and all its utensils, and the oil for the light;
38and the gold altar, and the anointing oil and the fragrant incense, and the curtain for the doorway of the tent;
39the bronze altar and its bronze grating, its poles and all its utensils, the basin and its stand;
40the hangings for the courtyard, its pillars and its bases, and the curtain for the gate of the courtyard, its ropes and its pegs, and all the equipment for the service of the tabernacle, for the tent of meeting;
41the woven garments for ministering in the Holy Place, and the holy garments for Aaron the priest and the garments of his sons, to serve as priests.
42So the sons of Israel did all the work according to everything that the Lord had commanded Moses.
43And Moses examined all the work, and behold, they had done it; just as the Lord had commanded, this they had done. So Moses blessed them.

11And the second row, an emerald, a sapphire, and a diamond. 12And the third row, a ligure, an agate, and an amethyst. 13And the fourth row, a beryl, an onyx, and a jasper: they were inclosed in ouches of gold in their inclosings. 14And the stones were according to the names of the children of Israel, twelve, according to their names, like the engravings of a signet, every one with his name, according to the twelve tribes. 15And they made upon the breastplate chains at the ends, of wreathen work of pure gold. 16And they made two ouches of gold, and two gold rings; and put the two rings in the two ends of the breastplate. 17And they put the two wreathen chains of gold in the two rings on the ends of the breastplate. 18And the two ends of the two wreathen chains they fastened in the two ouches, and put them on the shoulderpieces of the ephod, before it. 19And they made two rings of gold, and put them on the two ends of the breastplate, upon the border of it, which was on the side of the ephod inward. 20And they made two other golden rings, and put them on the two sides of the ephod underneath, toward the forepart of it, over against the other coupling thereof, above the curious girdle of the ephod. 21And they did bind the breastplate by his rings unto the rings of the ephod with a lace of blue, that it might be above the curious girdle of the ephod, and that the breastplate might not be loosed from the ephod; as the LORD commanded Moses. 22And he made the robe of the ephod of woven work, all of blue. 23And there was an hole in the midst of the robe, as the hole of an habergeon, with a band round about the hole, that it should not rend. 24And they made upon the hems of the robe pomegranates of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and twined linen. 25And they made bells of pure gold, and put the bells between the pomegranates upon the hem of the robe, round about between the pomegranates; 26A bell and a pomegranate, a bell and a pomegranate, round about the hem of the robe to minister in; as the LORD commanded Moses. 27And they made coats of fine linen of woven work for Aaron, and for his sons, 28And a mitre of fine linen, and goodly bonnets of fine linen, and linen breeches of fine twined linen, 29And a girdle of fine twined linen, and blue, and purple, and scarlet, of needlework; as the LORD commanded Moses. 30And they made the plate of the holy crown of pure gold, and wrote upon it a writing, like to the engravings of a signet, HOLINESS TO THE LORD. 31And they tied unto it a lace of blue, to fasten it on high upon the mitre; as the LORD commanded Moses.
32Thus was all the work of the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation finished: and the children of Israel did according to all that the LORD commanded Moses, so did they.
33And they brought the tabernacle unto Moses, the tent, and all his furniture, his taches, his boards, his bars, and his pillars, and his sockets,
34And the covering of rams' skins dyed red, and the covering of badgers' skins, and the vail of the covering,
35The ark of the testimony, and the staves thereof, and the mercy seat,
36The table, and all the vessels thereof, and the shewbread,
37The pure candlestick, with the lamps thereof, even with the lamps to be set in order, and all the vessels thereof, and the oil for light,
38And the golden altar, and the anointing oil, and the sweet incense, and the hanging for the tabernacle door,
39The brasen altar, and his grate of brass, his staves, and all his vessels, the laver and his foot,
40The hangings of the court, his pillars, and his sockets, and the hanging for the court gate, his cords, and his pins, and all the vessels of the service of the tabernacle, for the tent of the congregation,
41The cloths of service to do service in the holy place, and the holy garments for Aaron the priest, and his sons' garments, to minister in the priest's office.
42According to all that the LORD commanded Moses, so the children of Israel made all the work.
43And Moses did look upon all the work, and, behold, they had done it as the LORD had commanded, even so had they done it: and Moses blessed them.

15They made braided chains of pure gold cord for the breastpiece.
16They also fashioned two gold filigree settings and two gold rings and attached the two rings to its two corners.
17Then they attached the two gold cords to the two gold rings on the corners of the breastpiece.
18They attached the other ends of the two cords to the two filigree settings, and in this way they attached them to the ephod's shoulder pieces in front.
19They made two other gold rings and put them at the two other corners of the breastpiece on the edge that is next to the inner border of the ephod.
20They made two more gold rings and attached them to the bottom of the ephod's two shoulder pieces on its front, close to its seam, above the ephod's woven waistband.
21Then they tied the breastpiece from its rings to the rings of the ephod with a cord of blue yarn, so that the breastpiece was above the ephod's waistband and did not come loose from the ephod. They did just as the Lord had commanded Moses.
22They made the woven robe of the ephod entirely of blue yarn.
23There was an opening in the center of the robe like that of body armor with a collar around the opening so that it would not tear.
24They made pomegranates of finely spun blue, purple, and scarlet yarn on the lower hem of the robe.
25They made bells of pure gold and attached the bells between the pomegranates, all around the hem of the robe between the pomegranates,
26a bell and a pomegranate alternating all around the lower hem of the robe to be worn for ministry. They made it just as the Lord had commanded Moses.
27They made the tunics of fine woven linen for Aaron and his sons.
28They made the turban and the ornate headbands of fine linen, the linen undergarments of finely spun linen,
29and the sash of finely spun linen expertly embroidered with blue, purple, and scarlet yarn. They did just as the Lord had commanded Moses.
30They made a medallion, the holy diadem, out of pure gold and wrote on it an inscription like the engraving on a seal: Holy to the Lord.
31They attached a cord of blue yarn to it in order to mount it on the turban, just as the Lord had commanded Moses.
32So all the work for the tabernacle, the tent of meeting, was finished. The Israelites did everything just as the Lord had commanded Moses.
33They brought the tabernacle to Moses: the tent with all its furnishings, its clasps, its supports, its crossbars, and its pillars and bases;
34the covering of ram skins dyed red and the covering of fine leather; the curtain for the screen;
35the ark of the testimony with its poles and the mercy seat;
36the table, all its utensils, and the Bread of the Presence;
37the pure gold lampstand, with its lamps arranged and all its utensils, as well as the oil for the light;
38the gold altar; the anointing oil; the fragrant incense; the screen for the entrance to the tent;
39the bronze altar with its bronze grate, its poles, and all its utensils; the basin with its stand;
40the hangings of the courtyard, its posts and bases, the screen for the gate of the courtyard, its ropes and tent pegs, and all the furnishings for the service of the tabernacle, the tent of meeting;
41and the specially woven garments for ministering in the sanctuary, the holy garments for the priest Aaron and the garments for his sons to serve as priests.
42The Israelites had done all the work according to everything the Lord had commanded Moses.
43Moses inspected all the work they had accomplished. They had done just as the Lord commanded. Then Moses blessed them.

Chapter 39
11The second row contained a turquoise, a blue lapis lazuli, and a white moonstone. 12The third row contained an orange jacinth, an agate, and a purple amethyst. 13The fourth row contained a blue-green beryl, an onyx, and a green jasper. All these stones were set in gold filigree. 14Each stone represented one of the twelve sons of Israel, and the name of that tribe was engraved on it like a seal.
15To attach the chestpiece to the ephod, they made braided cords of pure gold thread.
16They also made two settings of gold filigree and two gold rings and attached them to the top corners of the chestpiece.
17They tied the two gold cords to the rings on the chestpiece.
18They tied the other ends of the cords to the gold settings on the shoulder-pieces of the ephod.
19Then they made two more gold rings and attached them to the inside edges of the chestpiece next to the ephod.
20Then they made two more gold rings and attached them to the front of the ephod, below the shoulder-pieces, just above the knot where the decorative sash was fastened to the ephod.
21They attached the bottom rings of the chestpiece to the rings on the ephod with blue cords. In this way, the chestpiece was held securely to the ephod above the decorative sash. All this was done just as the Lord had commanded Moses.
22Bezalel made the robe that is worn with the ephod from a single piece of blue woven cloth,
23with an opening for Aaron’s head in the middle of it. The opening was reinforced with a woven collar so it would not tear.
24They made pomegranates of blue, purple, and scarlet yarn, and attached them to the hem of the robe.
25They also made bells of pure gold and placed them between the pomegranates along the hem of the robe,
26with bells and pomegranates alternating all around the hem. This robe was to be worn whenever the priest ministered before the Lord, just as the Lord had commanded Moses.
27They made tunics for Aaron and his sons from fine linen cloth.
28The turban and the special head coverings were made of fine linen, and the undergarments were also made of finely woven linen.
29The sashes were made of finely woven linen and embroidered with blue, purple, and scarlet thread, just as the Lord had commanded Moses.
30Finally, they made the sacred medallion — the badge of holiness — of pure gold. They engraved it like a seal with these words: HOLY TO THE Lord.
31They attached the medallion with a blue cord to Aaron’s turban, just as the Lord had commanded Moses.
33And they brought the entire Tabernacle to Moses: the sacred tent with all its furnishings, clasps, frames, crossbars, posts, and bases;
34the tent coverings of tanned ram skins and fine goatskin leather; the inner curtain to shield the Ark;
35the Ark of the Covenant and its carrying poles; the Ark’s cover — the place of atonement;
36the table and all its utensils; the Bread of the Presence;
37the pure gold lampstand with its symmetrical lamp cups, all its accessories, and the olive oil for lighting;
38the gold altar; the anointing oil and fragrant incense; the curtain for the entrance of the sacred tent;
39the bronze altar; the bronze grating and its carrying poles and utensils; the washbasin with its stand;
