Exodus 35:1-17

2For six days work may be done, but on the seventh day you shall have a holy day, a Sabbath of complete rest to the Lord; whoever does any work on it shall be put to death.
3You shall not kindle a fire in any of your dwellings on the Sabbath day.'
4Moses spoke to all the congregation of the sons of Israel, saying, 'This is the thing which the Lord has commanded, saying,
5‘Take from among you a contribution to the Lord; whoever is of a willing heart is to bring it as the Lord’S contribution: gold, silver, and bronze,
6and violet, purple, and scarlet material, fine linen, goats’ hair,
7and rams’ skins dyed red, and fine leather, and acacia wood,
8and oil for lighting, and spices for the anointing oil, and for the fragrant incense,
9and onyx stones and setting stones for the ephod and for the breastpiece.
10‘Have every skillful person among you come and make all that the Lord has commanded:
11the tabernacle, its tent and its covering, its hooks and its boards, its bars, its pillars, and its bases;
12the ark and its poles, the atoning cover, and the covering curtain;
13the table and its poles, and all its utensils, and the bread of the Presence;
14the lampstand also for the light and its utensils and its lamps, and the oil for the light;
15and the altar of incense and its poles, and the anointing oil and the fragrant incense, and the curtain for the doorway at the entrance of the tabernacle;
16the altar of burnt offering with its bronze grating, its poles, and all its utensils, the basin and its stand;
17the hangings of the courtyard, its pillars and its bases, and the curtain for the gate of the courtyard;

Chapter 35
1Moses assembled the entire Israelite community and said to them, "These are the things that the Lord has commanded you to do: 2For six days work is to be done, but on the seventh day you are to have a holy day, a Sabbath of complete rest to the Lord. Anyone who does work on it must be executed. 3Do not light a fire in any of your homes on the Sabbath day."
4Then Moses said to the entire Israelite community, "This is what the Lord has commanded:
5Take up an offering among you for the Lord. Let everyone whose heart is willing bring this as the Lord's offering: gold, silver, and bronze;
6blue, purple, and scarlet yarn; fine linen and goat hair;
7ram skins dyed red and fine leather; acacia wood;
8oil for the light; spices for the anointing oil and for the fragrant incense;
9and onyx with gemstones to mount on the ephod and breastpiece.
10"Let all the skilled artisans among you come and make everything that the Lord has commanded:
11the tabernacle--its tent and covering, its clasps and supports, its crossbars, its pillars and bases;
12the ark with its poles, the mercy seat, and the curtain for the screen;
13the table with its poles, all its utensils, and the Bread of the Presence;
14the lampstand for light with its utensils and lamps as well as the oil for the light;
15the altar of incense with its poles; the anointing oil and the fragrant incense; the entryway screen for the entrance to the tabernacle;
16the altar of burnt offering with its bronze grate, its poles, and all its utensils; the basin with its stand;
17the hangings of the courtyard, its posts and bases, and the screen for the gate of the courtyard;

Chapter 35
1Then Moses called together the whole community of Israel and told them, 'These are the instructions the Lord has commanded you to follow. 2You have six days each week for your ordinary work, but the seventh day must be a Sabbath day of complete rest, a holy day dedicated to the Lord. Anyone who works on that day must be put to death. 3You must not even light a fire in any of your homes on the Sabbath.'
5Take a sacred offering for the Lord. Let those with generous hearts present the following gifts to the Lord: gold, silver, and bronze;
6blue, purple, and scarlet thread; fine linen and goat hair for cloth;
7tanned ram skins and fine goatskin leather; acacia wood;
8olive oil for the lamps; spices for the anointing oil and the fragrant incense;
9onyx stones, and other gemstones to be set in the ephod and the priest’s chestpiece.
11the Tabernacle and its sacred tent, its covering, clasps, frames, crossbars, posts, and bases;
12the Ark and its carrying poles; the Ark’s cover — the place of atonement; the inner curtain to shield the Ark;

Whoever does any work on it shall be put to death. 3You shall kindle no fire in all your dwelling places on the Sabbath day.”
