So now leave Me alone, that My anger may burn against them and that I may destroy them; and I will make of you a great nation.'

Lord
his God, and said, '
Lord
, why does Your anger burn against Your people whom You have brought out from the land of Egypt with great power and with a mighty hand?

Now therefore let me alone, that my wrath may wax hot against them, and that I may consume them: and I will make of thee a great nation.

And Moses besought the
Lord
his God, and said,
Lord
, why doth thy wrath wax hot against thy people, which thou hast brought forth out of the land of Egypt with great power, and with a mighty hand?

Now leave me alone, so that my anger can burn against them and I can destroy them. Then I will make you into a great nation."

But Moses sought the favor of the
Lord
his God: "

, why does your anger burn against your people you brought out of the land of Egypt with great power and a strong hand?

Now leave me alone so my fierce anger can blaze against them, and I will destroy them. Then I will make you, Moses, into a great nation.'
