17
It is a sign between Me and the sons of Israel forever; for in six days the
Lord
made heaven and earth, but on the seventh day He ceased
from labor,
and was refreshed.'
18
When He had finished speaking with him on Mount Sinai, He gave Moses the two tablets of the testimony, tablets of stone, written by the finger of God.

It is a sign between me and the children of Israel for ever: for in six days the
Lord
made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested, and was refreshed.

And he gave unto Moses, when he had made an end of communing with him upon mount Sinai, two tables of testimony, tables of stone, written with the finger of God.

It is a permanent sign of my covenant with the people of Israel. For in six days the

made heaven and earth, but on the seventh day he stopped working and was refreshed.’'

finished speaking with Moses on Mount Sinai, he gave him the two stone tablets inscribed with the terms of the covenant, written by the finger of God.
