Exodus 29:38-44
New American Standard Bible
Chapter 29
38
Now this is what you shall offer on the altar: two one-year-old lambs each day, continuously.
39
The one lamb you shall offer in the morning, and the other lamb you shall offer at twilight;
40
and there
shall be
a tenth
of an ephah
of fine flour mixed with a fourth of a hin of beaten oil, and a fourth of a hin of wine for a drink offering with one lamb.
41
The other lamb you shall offer at twilight, and shall offer with it the same grain offering and the same drink offering as in the morning, for a soothing aroma, an offering by fire to the
Lord
.
42
It shall be a continual burnt offering throughout your generations at the doorway of the tent of meeting before the
Lord
, where I will meet with you, to speak to you there.
43
I will meet there with the sons of Israel, and it shall be consecrated by My glory.
44
I will consecrate the tent of meeting and the altar; I will also consecrate Aaron and his sons to serve as priests to Me.
King James Version
Chapter 29
38
Now this is that which thou shalt offer upon the altar; two lambs of the first year day by day continually.
39
The one lamb thou shalt offer in the morning; and the other lamb thou shalt offer at even:
40
And with the one lamb a tenth deal of flour mingled with the fourth part of an hin of beaten oil; and the fourth part of an hin of wine for a drink offering.
41
And the other lamb thou shalt offer at even, and shalt do thereto according to the meat offering of the morning, and according to the drink offering thereof, for a sweet savour, an offering made by fire unto the
Lord
.
42
This shall be a continual burnt offering throughout your generations at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation before the
Lord
: where I will meet you, to speak there unto thee.
43
And there I will meet with the children of Israel, and the tabernacle shall be sanctified by my glory.
44
And I will sanctify the tabernacle of the congregation, and the altar: I will sanctify also both Aaron and his sons, to minister to me in the priest's office.
Christian Standard Bible
Chapter 29
38
"This is what you are to offer regularly on the altar every day: two year-old lambs.
39
In the morning offer one lamb, and at twilight offer the other lamb.
40
With the first lamb offer two quarts of fine flour mixed with one quart of oil from crushed olives, and a drink offering of one quart of wine.
41
You are to offer the second lamb at twilight. Offer a grain offering and a drink offering with it, like the one in the morning, as a pleasing aroma, a fire offering to the
Lord
.
42
This will be a regular burnt offering throughout your generations at the entrance to the tent of meeting before the
Lord
, where I will meet you to speak with you.
43
I will also meet with the Israelites there, and that place will be consecrated by my glory.
44
I will consecrate the tent of meeting and the altar; I will also consecrate Aaron and his sons to serve me as priests.
New Living Translation
Chapter 29
38
These are the sacrifices you are to offer regularly on the altar. Each day, offer two lambs that are a year old,
39
one in the morning and the other in the evening.
40
With one of them, offer two quarts of choice flour mixed with one quart of pure oil of pressed olives; also, offer one quart of wine as a liquid offering.
41
Offer the other lamb in the evening, along with the same offerings of flour and wine as in the morning. It will be a pleasing aroma, a special gift presented to the
Lord
.
42
These burnt offerings are to be made each day from generation to generation. Offer them in the
Lord
’s presence at the Tabernacle entrance; there I will meet with you and speak with you.
43
I will meet the people of Israel there, in the place made holy by my glorious presence.
44
Yes, I will consecrate the Tabernacle and the altar, and I will consecrate Aaron and his sons to serve me as priests.
