Chapter 24
14But to the elders he said, 'Wait here for us until we return to you. And behold, Aaron and Hur are with you; whoever has a legal matter, have him approach them.' 15Then Moses went up to the mountain, and the cloud covered the mountain. 16The glory of the Lord settled on Mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it for six days; and on the seventh day He called to Moses from the midst of the cloud. 17And to the eyes of the sons of Israel, the appearance of the glory of the Lord was like a consuming fire on the mountain top.King James Version

14And he said unto the elders, Tarry ye here for us, until we come again unto you: and, behold, Aaron and Hur are with you: if any man have any matters to do, let him come unto them. 15And Moses went up into the mount, and a cloud covered the mount. 16And the glory of the LORD abode upon mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it six days: and the seventh day he called unto Moses out of the midst of the cloud. 17And the sight of the glory of the LORD was like devouring fire on the top of the mount in the eyes of the children of Israel.Christian Standard Bible

15Then Moses climbed up the mountain, and the cloud covered it.
16And the glory of the Lord settled down on Mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it for six days. On the seventh day the Lord called to Moses from inside the cloud.
17To the Israelites at the foot of the mountain, the glory of the Lord appeared at the summit like a consuming fire.

15Then Moses went up on the mountain, and the cloud covered the mountain.
16The glory of the LORD dwelt on Mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it six days. And on the seventh day he called to Moses out of the midst of the cloud.
17Now the appearance of the glory of the LORD was like a devouring fire on the top of the mountain in the sight of the people of Israel.
