Exodus 14:28-31
New American Standard Bible
Chapter 14
28
The waters returned and covered the chariots and the horsemen, Pharaoh’s entire army that had gone into the sea after them; not even one of them remained.
29
But the sons of Israel walked on dry land through the midst of the sea, and the waters
were like
a wall to them on their right and on their left.
30
So the
Lord
saved Israel that day from the hand of the Egyptians, and Israel saw the Egyptians dead on the seashore.
31
When Israel saw the great power which the
Lord
had used against the Egyptians, the people feared the
Lord
, and they believed in the
Lord
and in His servant Moses.
King James Version
Chapter 14
28
And the waters returned, and covered the chariots, and the horsemen, and all the host of Pharaoh that came into the sea after them; there remained not so much as one of them.
29
But the children of Israel walked upon dry land in the midst of the sea; and the waters were a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their left.
30
Thus the
Lord
saved Israel that day out of the hand of the Egyptians; and Israel saw the Egyptians dead upon the sea shore.
31
And Israel saw that great work which the
Lord
did upon the Egyptians: and the people feared the
Lord
, and believed the
Lord
, and his servant Moses.
Christian Standard Bible
Chapter 14
28
The water came back and covered the chariots and horsemen, plus the entire army of Pharaoh that had gone after them into the sea. Not even one of them survived.
29
But the Israelites had walked through the sea on dry ground, with the waters like a wall to them on their right and their left.
30
That day the
Lord
saved Israel from the power of the Egyptians, and Israel saw the Egyptians dead on the seashore.
31
When Israel saw the great power that the
Lord
used against the Egyptians, the people feared the
Lord
and believed in him and in his servant Moses.
New Living Translation
Chapter 14
28
Then the waters returned and covered all the chariots and charioteers — the entire army of Pharaoh. Of all the Egyptians who had chased the Israelites into the sea, not a single one survived.
29
But the people of Israel had walked through the middle of the sea on dry ground, as the water stood up like a wall on both sides.
30
That is how the
Lord
rescued Israel from the hand of the Egyptians that day. And the Israelites saw the bodies of the Egyptians washed up on the seashore.
31
When the people of Israel saw the mighty power that the
Lord
had unleashed against the Egyptians, they were filled with awe before him. They put their faith in the
Lord
and in his servant Moses.

Chapter 14

29
But the Israelites went through the sea on dry ground, with a wall of water on their right and on their left.
30
That day the
Lord
saved Israel from the hands of the Egyptians, and Israel saw the Egyptians lying dead on the shore.
31
And when the Israelites saw the mighty hand of the
Lord
displayed against the Egyptians, the people feared the
Lord
and put their trust in him and in Moses his servant.
