Exodus 14:27-28
New American Standard Bible
Chapter 14
27
So Moses reached out with his hand over the sea, and the sea returned to its normal state at daybreak, while the Egyptians were fleeing right into it; then the
Lord
overthrew the Egyptians in the midst of the sea.
28
The waters returned and covered the chariots and the horsemen, Pharaoh’s entire army that had gone into the sea after them; not even one of them remained.
King James Version
Chapter 14
27
And Moses stretched forth his hand over the sea, and the sea returned to his strength when the morning appeared; and the Egyptians fled against it; and the
Lord
overthrew the Egyptians in the midst of the sea.
28
And the waters returned, and covered the chariots, and the horsemen, and all the host of Pharaoh that came into the sea after them; there remained not so much as one of them.
Christian Standard Bible
Chapter 14
27
So Moses stretched out his hand over the sea, and at daybreak the sea returned to its normal depth. While the Egyptians were trying to escape from it, the
Lord
threw them into the sea.
28
The water came back and covered the chariots and horsemen, plus the entire army of Pharaoh that had gone after them into the sea. Not even one of them survived.
New Living Translation
Chapter 14
27
So as the sun began to rise, Moses raised his hand over the sea, and the water rushed back into its usual place. The Egyptians tried to escape, but the
Lord
swept them into the sea.
28
Then the waters returned and covered all the chariots and charioteers — the entire army of Pharaoh. Of all the Egyptians who had chased the Israelites into the sea, not a single one survived.
English Standard Version

Lord
swept them into the sea.
28
The water flowed back and covered the chariots and horsemen—the entire army of Pharaoh that had followed the Israelites into the sea. Not one of them survived.
New King James Version
Chapter 14
27
And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and when the morning appeared, the sea returned to its full depth, while the Egyptians were fleeing into it. So the
Lord
overthrew the Egyptians in the midst of the sea.
28
Then the waters returned and covered the chariots, the horsemen,
and
all the army of Pharaoh that came into the sea after them. Not so much as one of them remained.
