But sexual immorality or any impurity or greed must not even be mentioned among you, as is proper among saints;

there must be no
filthiness or foolish talk, or vulgar joking, which are not fitting, but rather giving of thanks.

Obscene and foolish talking or crude joking are not suitable, but rather giving thanks.

Let there be no sexual immorality, impurity, or greed among you. Such sins have no place among God’s people.

Obscene stories, foolish talk, and coarse jokes — these are not for you. Instead, let there be thankfulness to God.

Let there be no filthiness nor foolish talk nor crude joking, which are out of place, but instead let there be thanksgiving.

But among you there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity, or of greed, because these are improper for God's holy people.

Nor should there be obscenity, foolish talk or coarse joking, which are out of place, but rather thanksgiving.
