Deuteronomy 34:5-12
New American Standard Bible
Chapter 34
5So Moses the servant of the Lord died there in the land of Moab, in accordance with the word of the Lord. 6And He buried him in the valley in the land of Moab, opposite Beth-peor; but no one knows his burial place to this day. 7Although Moses was 120 years old when he died, his eyesight was not dim, nor had his vigor left him. 8So the sons of Israel wept for Moses in the plains of Moab for thirty days; then the days of weeping and mourning for Moses came to an end.
9Now Joshua the son of Nun was filled with the spirit of wisdom, because Moses had laid his hands on him; and the sons of Israel listened to him and did as the Lord had commanded Moses.
10Since that time no prophet has risen in Israel like Moses, whom the Lord knew face to face,
11for all the signs and wonders which the Lord sent him to perform in the land of Egypt against Pharaoh, all his servants, and all his land—
12and for all the mighty power and all the great terror which Moses performed in the sight of all Israel.
King James Version
Chapter 34
5So Moses the servant of the Lord died there in the land of Moab, according to the word of the Lord. 6And he buried him in a valley in the land of Moab, over against Bethpeor: but no man knoweth of his sepulchre unto this day. 7And Moses was an hundred and twenty years old when he died: his eye was not dim, nor his natural force abated. 8And the children of Israel wept for Moses in the plains of Moab thirty days: so the days of weeping and mourning for Moses were ended. 9And Joshua the son of Nun was full of the spirit of wisdom; for Moses had laid his hands upon him: and the children of Israel hearkened unto him, and did as the Lord commanded Moses. 10And there arose not a prophet since in Israel like unto Moses, whom the Lord knew face to face, 11In all the signs and the wonders, which the Lord sent him to do in the land of Egypt to Pharaoh, and to all his servants, and to all his land, 12And in all that mighty hand, and in all the great terror which Moses shewed in the sight of all Israel.Christian Standard Bible
Chapter 34
5So Moses the servant of the Lord died there in the land of Moab, according to the Lord’s word. 6He buried him in the valley in the land of Moab facing Beth-peor, and no one to this day knows where his grave is. 7Moses was one hundred twenty years old when he died; his eyes were not weak, and his vitality had not left him. 8The Israelites wept for Moses in the plains of Moab thirty days. Then the days of weeping and mourning for Moses came to an end.
9Joshua son of Nun was filled with the spirit of wisdom because Moses had laid his hands on him. So the Israelites obeyed him and did as the Lord had commanded Moses.
10No prophet has arisen again in Israel like Moses, whom the Lord knew face to face.
11He was unparalleled for all the signs and wonders the Lord sent him to do against the land of Egypt—to Pharaoh, to all his officials, and to all his land,
12and for all the mighty acts of power and terrifying deeds that Moses performed in the sight of all Israel.
New Living Translation
Chapter 34
5So Moses, the servant of the Lord, died there in the land of Moab, just as the Lord had said. 6The Lord buried him in a valley near Beth-peor in Moab, but to this day no one knows the exact place. 7Moses was 120 years old when he died, yet his eyesight was clear, and he was as strong as ever. 8The people of Israel mourned for Moses on the plains of Moab for thirty days, until the customary period of mourning was over.
10There has never been another prophet in Israel like Moses, whom the Lord knew face to face.
11The Lord sent him to perform all the miraculous signs and wonders in the land of Egypt against Pharaoh, and all his servants, and his entire land.
12With mighty power, Moses performed terrifying acts in the sight of all Israel.

Chapter 34
5So Moses the servant of the Lord died there in the land of Moab, according to the word of the Lord, 6and he buried him in the valley in the land of Moab opposite Beth-peor; but no one knows the place of his burial to this day. 7Moses was 120 years old when he died. His eye was undimmed, and his vigor unabated. 8And the people of Israel wept for Moses in the plains of Moab thirty days. Then the days of weeping and mourning for Moses were ended.
9And Joshua the son of Nun was full of the spirit of wisdom, for Moses had laid his hands on him. So the people of Israel obeyed him and did as the Lord had commanded Moses.
10And there has not arisen a prophet since in Israel like Moses, whom the Lord knew face to face,
11none like him for all the signs and the wonders that the Lord sent him to do in the land of Egypt, to Pharaoh and to all his servants and to all his land,
12and for all the mighty power and all the great deeds of terror that Moses did in the sight of all Israel.

Chapter 34
5And Moses the servant of the Lord died there in Moab, as the Lord had said. 6He buried him in Moab, in the valley opposite Beth Peor, but to this day no one knows where his grave is. 7Moses was a hundred and twenty years old when he died, yet his eyes were not weak nor his strength gone. 8The Israelites grieved for Moses in the plains of Moab thirty days, until the time of weeping and mourning was over.
10Since then, no prophet has risen in Israel like Moses, whom the Lord knew face to face,
11who did all those signs and wonders the Lord sent him to do in Egypt—to Pharaoh and to all his officials and to his whole land.
12For no one has ever shown the mighty power or performed the awesome deeds that Moses did in the sight of all Israel.
