23
Of Naphtali he said,
'Naphtali, satisfied with favor,
And full of the blessing of the
Lord
,
Take possession of the sea and the south.'
24
Of Asher he said,
'More blessed than sons is Asher;
May he be favored by his brothers,
And may he dip his foot in olive oil.
25
Your bars will be iron and bronze,
And as your days,
so will
your strength
be.

And of Naphtali he said, O Naphtali, satisfied with favour, and full with the blessing of the
Lord
: possess thou the west and the south.

And of Asher he said, Let Asher be blessed with children; let him be acceptable to his brethren, and let him dip his foot in oil.

Thy shoes shall be iron and brass; and as thy days, so shall thy strength be.

Naphtali, enjoying approval,
full of the
Lord
’s blessing,
take possession to the west and the south.

He said about Asher:
May Asher be the most blessed of the sons;
may he be the most favored among his brothers
and dip his foot in olive oil.

May the bolts of your gate be iron and bronze,
and your strength last as long as you live.

Moses said this about the tribe of Naphtali:
'O Naphtali, you are rich in favor
and full of the
Lord
’s blessings;
may you possess the west and the south.'

Moses said this about the tribe of Asher:
'May Asher be blessed above other sons;
may he be esteemed by his brothers;
may he bathe his feet in olive oil.

May the bolts of your gates be of iron and bronze;
may you be secure all your days.'
