Deuteronomy 28:7-14
New American Standard Bible
Chapter 28
7
The
Lord
will cause your enemies who rise up against you to be defeated by you; they will go out against you one way and will flee at your presence seven ways.
8
The
Lord
will command the blessing for you in your barns and in everything that you put your hand to, and He will bless you in the land that the
Lord
your God is giving you.
9
The
Lord
will establish you as a holy people to Himself, as He swore to you, if you keep the commandments of the
Lord
your God and walk in His ways.
10
So all the peoples of the earth will see that you are called by the name of the
Lord
, and they will be afraid of you.
11
And the
Lord
will give you more than enough prosperity, in the children of your womb, in the offspring of your livestock, and in the produce of your ground, in the land which the
Lord
swore to your fathers to give you.
12
The
Lord
will open for you His good storehouse, the heavens, to give rain to your land in its season and to bless every work of your hand; and you will lend to many nations, but you will not borrow.
13
And the
Lord
will make you the head and not the tail, and you will only be above, and not be underneath, if you listen to the commandments of the
Lord
your God which I am commanding you today, to follow
them
carefully,
14
and do not turn aside from any of the words which I am commanding you today, to the right or the left, to pursue other gods to serve them.
King James Version
Chapter 28
7
The
Lord
shall cause thine enemies that rise up against thee to be smitten before thy face: they shall come out against thee one way, and flee before thee seven ways.
8
The
Lord
shall command the blessing upon thee in thy storehouses, and in all that thou settest thine hand unto; and he shall bless thee in the land which the
Lord
thy God giveth thee.
9
The
Lord
shall establish thee an holy people unto himself, as he hath sworn unto thee, if thou shalt keep the commandments of the
Lord
thy God, and walk in his ways.
10
And all people of the earth shall see that thou art called by the name of the
Lord
; and they shall be afraid of thee.
11
And the
Lord
shall make thee plenteous in goods, in the fruit of thy body, and in the fruit of thy cattle, and in the fruit of thy ground, in the land which the
Lord
sware unto thy fathers to give thee.
12
The
Lord
shall open unto thee his good treasure, the heaven to give the rain unto thy land in his season, and to bless all the work of thine hand: and thou shalt lend unto many nations, and thou shalt not borrow.
13
And the
Lord
shall make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath; if that thou hearken unto the commandments of the
Lord
thy God, which I command thee this day, to observe and to do them:
14
And thou shalt not go aside from any of the words which I command thee this day, to the right hand, or to the left, to go after other gods to serve them.

7
The
Lord
will conquer your enemies when they attack you. They will attack you from one direction, but they will scatter from you in seven!
8
The
Lord
will guarantee a blessing on everything you do and will fill your storehouses with grain. The

If you listen to these commands of the
Lord
your God that I am giving you today, and if you carefully obey them, the
Lord
will make you the head and not the tail, and you will always be on top and never at the bottom.
14
You must not turn away from any of the commands I am giving you today, nor follow after other gods and worship them.
