Deuteronomy 18:4-8
New American Standard Bible
Chapter 18
4You shall give him the first fruits of your grain, your new wine, and your oil, and the first fleece of your sheep. 5For the Lord your God has chosen him and his sons from all your tribes, to stand to serve in the name of the Lord always.
6Now if a Levite comes from any of your towns throughout Israel where he resides, and he comes whenever he desires to the place which the Lord chooses,
7then he shall serve in the name of the Lord his God, like all his fellow Levites who stand there before the Lord.
8They shall eat equal portions, except for what they receive from the sale of their fathers’ estates.
King James Version
Chapter 18
4The firstfruit also of thy corn, of thy wine, and of thine oil, and the first of the fleece of thy sheep, shalt thou give him. 5For the Lord thy God hath chosen him out of all thy tribes, to stand to minister in the name of the Lord, him and his sons for ever. 6And if a Levite come from any of thy gates out of all Israel, where he sojourned, and come with all the desire of his mind unto the place which the Lord shall choose; 7Then he shall minister in the name of the Lord his God, as all his brethren the Levites do, which stand there before the Lord. 8They shall have like portions to eat, beside that which cometh of the sale of his patrimony.Christian Standard Bible
Chapter 18
4You are to give him the firstfruits of your grain, new wine, and fresh oil, and the first sheared wool of your flock. 5For the Lord your God has chosen him and his sons from all your tribes to stand and minister in his name from now on. 6When a Levite leaves one of your towns in Israel where he was staying and wants to go to the place the Lord chooses, 7he may serve in the name of the Lord his God like all his fellow Levites who minister there in the presence of the Lord. 8They will eat equal portions besides what he has received from the sale of the family estate.New Living Translation
Chapter 18
4You must also give to the priests the first share of the grain, the new wine, the olive oil, and the wool at shearing time. 5For the Lord your God chose the tribe of Levi out of all your tribes to minister in the Lord’s name forever.
6Suppose a Levite chooses to move from his town in Israel, wherever he is living, to the place the Lord chooses for worship.
7He may minister there in the name of the Lord his God, just like all his fellow Levites who are serving the Lord there.
8He may eat his share of the sacrifices and offerings, even if he also receives support from his family.

6"And if a Levite comes from any of your towns out of all Israel, where he lives — and he may come when he desires — to the place that the Lord will choose,
7and ministers in the name of the Lord his God, like all his fellow Levites who stand to minister there before the Lord,

6If a Levite moves from one of your towns anywhere in Israel where he is living, and comes in all earnestness to the place the Lord will choose,
7he may minister in the name of the Lord his God like all his fellow Levites who serve there in the presence of the Lord.
8He is to share equally in their benefits, even though he has received money from the sale of family possessions.
