Deuteronomy 11:10-13
New American Standard Bible
Chapter 11
10
For the land, into which you are entering to possess it, is not like the land of Egypt from which you came, where you used to sow your seed and water it by your foot like a vegetable garden.
11
But the land into which you are about to cross to possess it, a land of hills and valleys, drinks water from the rain of heaven,
12
a land for which the
Lord
your God cares; the eyes of the
Lord
your God are continually on it, from the beginning even to the end of the year.
13
And it shall come about, if you listen obediently to my commandments which I am commanding you today, to love the
Lord
your God and to serve Him with all your heart and all your soul,
King James Version
Chapter 11
10
For the land, whither thou goest in to possess it, is not as the land of Egypt, from whence ye came out, where thou sowedst thy seed, and wateredst it with thy foot, as a garden of herbs:
11
But the land, whither ye go to possess it, is a land of hills and valleys, and drinketh water of the rain of heaven:
12
A land which the
Lord
thy God careth for: the eyes of the
Lord
thy God are always upon it, from the beginning of the year even unto the end of the year.
13
And it shall come to pass, if ye shall hearken diligently unto my commandments which I command you this day, to love the
Lord
your God, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul,
Christian Standard Bible
Chapter 11
10
For the land you are entering to possess is not like the land of Egypt, from which you have come, where you sowed your seed and irrigated by hand as in a vegetable garden.
11
But the land you are entering to possess is a land of mountains and valleys, watered by rain from the sky.
12
It is a land the
Lord
your God cares for. He is always watching over it from the beginning to the end of the year.
13
"If you carefully obey my commands I am giving you today, to love the
Lord
your God and worship him with all your heart and all your soul,
New Living Translation
Chapter 11
10
For the land you are about to enter and take over is not like the land of Egypt from which you came, where you planted your seed and made irrigation ditches with your foot as in a vegetable garden.
11
Rather, the land you will soon take over is a land of hills and valleys with plenty of rain —
12
a land that the
Lord
your God cares for. He watches over it through each season of the year!
13
If you carefully obey the commands I am giving you today, and if you love the
Lord
your God and serve him with all your heart and soul,
English Standard Version
Chapter 11
10
For the land that you are entering to take possession of it is not like the land of Egypt, from which you have come, where you sowed your seed and irrigated it, like a garden of vegetables.
11
But the land that you are going over to possess is a land of hills and valleys, which drinks water by the rain from heaven,
12
a land that the
Lord
your God cares for. The eyes of the
Lord
your God are always upon it, from the beginning of the year to the end of the year.
13
"And if you will indeed obey my commandments that I command you today, to love the
Lord
your God, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul,
New International Version
Chapter 11
10
The land you are entering to take over is not like the land of Egypt, from which you have come, where you planted your seed and irrigated it by foot as in a vegetable garden.
11
But the land you are crossing the Jordan to take possession of is a land of mountains and valleys that drinks rain from heaven.
12
It is a land the
Lord
your God cares for; the eyes of the
Lord
your God are continually on it from the beginning of the year to its end.
13
So if you faithfully obey the commands I am giving you today—to love the
Lord
your God and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul—
New King James Version
Chapter 11
10
For the land which you go to possess
is
not like the land of Egypt from which you have come, where you sowed your seed and watered
it
by foot, as a vegetable garden;
11
but the land which you cross over to possess
is
a land of hills and valleys, which drinks water from the rain of heaven,
12
a land for which the
Lord
your God cares; the eyes of the
Lord
your God
are
always on it, from the beginning of the year to the very end of the year.
13
‘And it shall be that if you earnestly obey My commandments which I command you today, to love the
Lord
your God and serve Him with all your heart and with all your soul,
