Acts 8:7-10
New American Standard Bible
Chapter 8
7
For
in the case of
many who had unclean spirits, they were coming out
of them
shouting with a loud voice; and many who had been paralyzed or limped
on crutches
were healed.
8
So there was much rejoicing in that city.
9
Now a man named Simon had previously been practicing magic in the city and astonishing the people of Samaria, claiming to be someone great;
10
and all
the people,
from small to great, were paying attention to him, saying, 'This man is the Power of God that is called Great.'
King James Version
Chapter 8
7
For unclean spirits, crying with loud voice, came out of many that were possessed with them: and many taken with palsies, and that were lame, were healed.
8
And there was great joy in that city.
9
But there was a certain man, called Simon, which beforetime in the same city used sorcery, and bewitched the people of Samaria, giving out that himself was some great one:
10
To whom they all gave heed, from the least to the greatest, saying, This man is the great power of God.
Christian Standard Bible

10
They all paid attention to him, from the least of them to the greatest, and they said, "This man is called the Great Power of God."
New Living Translation
Chapter 8
7
Many evil spirits were cast out, screaming as they left their victims. And many who had been paralyzed or lame were healed.
8
So there was great joy in that city.
9
A man named Simon had been a sorcerer there for many years, amazing the people of Samaria and claiming to be someone great.
10
Everyone, from the least to the greatest, often spoke of him as 'the Great One — the Power of God.'
English Standard Version

8
So there was great joy in that city.
9
Now for some time a man named Simon had practiced sorcery in the city and amazed all the people of Samaria. He boasted that he was someone great,
10
