This is what the king says: ‘Do not let Hezekiah deceive you, for he will not be able to save you from my hand.

And do not let Hezekiah lead you to trust in the
Lord
by saying, 'The
Lord
will certainly save us, and this city will not be handed over to the king of Assyria.'

Thus saith the king, Let not Hezekiah deceive you: for he shall not be able to deliver you out of his hand:

Neither let Hezekiah make you trust in the LORD, saying, The LORD will surely deliver us, and this city shall not be delivered into the hand of the king of Assyria.

This is what the king says: 'Don't let Hezekiah deceive you; he can't rescue you from my power.

Don't let Hezekiah persuade you to rely on the Lord by saying, "Certainly the Lord will rescue us! This city will not be handed over to the king of Assyria." '

Don’t let him fool you into trusting in the
