Chapter 14
17Amaziah the son of Joash king of Judah lived for fifteen years after the death of Jehoash son of Jehoahaz king of Israel. 18Now as for the rest of the acts of Amaziah, are they not written in the Book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Judah? 19They formed a conspiracy against him in Jerusalem, and he fled to Lachish; but they sent men to Lachish after him and they killed him there. 20Then they carried him on horses, and he was buried in Jerusalem with his fathers in the city of David.King James Version

17Judah's King Amaziah son of Joash lived fifteen years after the death of Israel's King Jehoash son of Jehoahaz. 18The rest of the events of Amaziah's reign are written in the Historical Record of Judah's Kings. 19A conspiracy was formed against him in Jerusalem, and he fled to Lachish.
