And working together
with Him,
we also urge you not to receive the grace of God in vain—
2
for He says,
'AT A FAVORABLE TIME I LISTENED TO YOU,
AND ON A DAY OF SALVATION I HELPED YOU.'
Behold, now is 'A FAVORABLE TIME,' behold, now is 'A DAY OF SALVATION'—

We then,
as
workers together
with him
, beseech
you
also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain.

(For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now
is
the accepted time; behold, now
is
the day of salvation.)

Working together with him, we also appeal to you, "Don't receive the grace of God in vain."

For he says:At an acceptable time I listened to you,and in the day of salvation I helped you. See, now is the acceptable time; now is the day of salvation!

Chapter 6

As God’s partners, we beg you not to accept this marvelous gift of God’s kindness and then ignore it.
2
For God says,
'At just the right time, I heard you.
On the day of salvation, I helped you.'
Indeed, the 'right time' is now. Today is the day of salvation.
