2 Corinthians 1:18-21
New American Standard Bible
Chapter 1
18But as God is faithful, our word to you is not yes and no. 19For the Son of God, Christ Jesus, who was preached among you by us—by me and Silvanus and Timothy—was not yes and no, but has been yes in Him. 20For as many as the promises of God are, in Him they are yes; therefore through Him also is our Amen to the glory of God through us. 21Now He who establishes us with you in Christ and anointed us is God,King James Version
Chapter 1
18But as God is true, our word toward you was not yea and nay. 19For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by us, even by me and Silvanus and Timotheus, was not yea and nay, but in him was yea. 20For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us. 21Now he which stablisheth us with you in Christ, and hath anointed us, is God;Christian Standard Bible
Chapter 1
18As God is faithful, our message to you is not "Yes and no." 19For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, whom we proclaimed among you--Silvanus, Timothy, and I--did not become "Yes and no." On the contrary, in him it is always "Yes." 20For every one of God's promises is "Yes" in him. Therefore, through him we also say "Amen" to the glory of God. 21Now it is God who strengthens us together with you in Christ, and who has anointed us.New Living Translation
Chapter 1
18As surely as God is faithful, our word to you does not waver between 'Yes' and 'No.' 19For Jesus Christ, the Son of God, does not waver between 'Yes' and 'No.' He is the one whom Silas, Timothy, and I preached to you, and as God’s ultimate 'Yes,' he always does what he says. 20For all of God’s promises have been fulfilled in Christ with a resounding 'Yes!' And through Christ, our 'Amen' (which means 'Yes') ascends to God for his glory.English Standard Version
Chapter 1
18As surely as God is faithful, our word to you has not been Yes and No. 19For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, whom we proclaimed among you, Silvanus and Timothy and I, was not Yes and No, but in him it is always Yes. 20For all the promises of God find their Yes in him. That is why it is through him that we utter our Amen to God for his glory. 21And it is God who establishes us with you in Christ, and has anointed us,New International Version
