2 Chronicles 34:21-22
New American Standard Bible
Chapter 34
21
Go, inquire of the
Lord
for me and for those who are left in Israel and Judah, concerning the words of the book which has been found; for the wrath of the
Lord
which has poured out on us is great, because our fathers have not kept the word of the
Lord
, to act in accordance with everything that is written in this book.'
22
So Hilkiah and
those
whom the king had told went to Huldah the prophetess, the wife of Shallum the son of Tokhath, the son of Hasrah, the keeper of the wardrobe (she lived in Jerusalem in the Second Quarter); and they spoke to her regarding this.
King James Version
Chapter 34
21
Go, enquire of the
Lord
for me, and for them that are left in Israel and in Judah, concerning the words of the book that is found: for great is the wrath of the
Lord
that is poured out upon us, because our fathers have not kept the word of the
Lord
, to do after all that is written in this book.
22
And Hilkiah, and they that the king had appointed, went to Huldah the prophetess, the wife of Shallum the son of Tikvath, the son of Hasrah, keeper of the wardrobe; (now she dwelt in Jerusalem in the college:) and they spake to her to that effect.
Christian Standard Bible
Chapter 34
21
"Go and inquire of the
Lord
for me and for those remaining in Israel and Judah, concerning the words of the book that was found. For great is the
Lord
’s wrath that is poured out on us because our ancestors have not kept the word of the
Lord
in order to do everything written in this book."
22
So Hilkiah and those the king had designated went to the prophetess Huldah, the wife of Shallum son of Tokhath, son of Hasrah, keeper of the wardrobe. She lived in Jerusalem in the Second District. They spoke with her about this.
New Living Translation
Chapter 34
21
Go to the Temple and speak to the
Lord
for me and for all the remnant of Israel and Judah. Inquire about the words written in the scroll that has been found. For the
Lord
’s great anger has been poured out on us because our ancestors have not obeyed the word of the
Lord
. We have not been doing everything this scroll says we must do.'
22
So Hilkiah and the other men went to the New Quarter of Jerusalem to consult with the prophet Huldah. She was the wife of Shallum son of Tikvah, son of Harhas, the keeper of the Temple wardrobe.

22
Hilkiah and those the king had sent with him went to speak to the prophet Huldah, who was the wife of Shallum son of Tokhath, the son of Hasrah, keeper of the wardrobe. She lived in Jerusalem, in the New Quarter.
