Chapter 34

15Hilkiah responded and said to Shaphan the scribe, 'I have found the Book of the Law in the house of the Lord.' And Hilkiah gave the book to Shaphan. 16Then Shaphan brought the book to the king and reported further word to the king, saying, 'Everything that was entrusted to your servants, they are doing. 17They have also emptied out the money which was found in the house of the Lord, and have handed it over to the supervisors and the workmen.'

15And Hilkiah answered and said to Shaphan the scribe, I have found the book of the law in the house of the Lord. And Hilkiah delivered the book to Shaphan. 16And Shaphan carried the book to the king, and brought the king word back again, saying, All that was committed to thy servants, they do it. 17And they have gathered together the money that was found in the house of the Lord, and have delivered it into the hand of the overseers, and to the hand of the workmen.

Chapter 34

15Consequently, Hilkiah told the court secretary Shaphan, "I have found the book of the law in the Lord’s temple," and he gave the book to Shaphan.
16Shaphan took the book to the king, and also reported, "Your servants are doing all that was placed in their hands. 17They have emptied out the silver that was found in the Lord’s temple and have given it to the overseers and to those doing the work."

Chapter 34

15Hilkiah said to Shaphan the court secretary, 'I have found the Book of the Law in the Lord’s Temple!' Then Hilkiah gave the scroll to Shaphan.
16Shaphan took the scroll to the king and reported, 'Your officials are doing everything they were assigned to do. 17The money that was collected at the Temple of the Lord has been turned over to the supervisors and workmen.'
