For if you return to the
Lord
, your brothers and your sons
will find
compassion in the presence of those who led them captive, and will return to this land. For the
Lord
your God is gracious and compassionate, and will not turn
His
face away from you if you return to Him.'

So the couriers passed from city to city through the country of Ephraim and Manasseh, and as far as Zebulun, but they laughed at them with scorn and mocked them.

, your brethren and your children shall find compassion before them that lead them captive, so that they shall come again into this land: for the

your God is gracious and merciful, and will not turn away his face from you, if ye return unto him.

So the posts passed from city to city through the country of Ephraim and Manasseh even unto Zebulun: but they laughed them to scorn, and mocked them.

The couriers traveled from city to city in the land of Ephraim and Manasseh as far as Zebulun, but the inhabitants laughed at them and mocked them.

The runners went from town to town throughout Ephraim and Manasseh and as far as the territory of Zebulun. But most of the people just laughed at the runners and made fun of them.
