Chapter 27
6So Jotham became powerful because he directed his ways before the Lord his God. 7Now the rest of the acts of Jotham, all his wars and his ways, behold, they are written in the Book of the Kings of Israel and Judah. 8He was twenty-five years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem for sixteen years. 9And Jotham lay down with his fathers, and they buried him in the city of David; and his son Ahaz became king in his place.King James Version

6So Jotham became mighty, because he prepared his ways before the LORD his God. 7Now the rest of the acts of Jotham, and all his wars, and his ways, lo, they are written in the book of the kings of Israel and Judah. 8He was five and twenty years old when he began to reign, and reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem. 9And Jotham slept with his fathers, and they buried him in the city of David: and Ahaz his son reigned in his stead.Christian Standard Bible

6So Jotham strengthened his position because he did not waver in obeying the Lord his God.
7As for the rest of the events of Jotham's reign, along with all his wars and his ways, note that they are written in the Book of the Kings of Israel and Judah.
8He was twenty-five years old when he became king, and he reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem.
9Jotham rested with his ancestors and was buried in the city of David. His son Ahaz became king in his place.

6King Jotham became powerful because he was careful to live in obedience to the Lord his God.

9When Jotham died, he was buried in the City of David. And his son Ahaz became the next king.
