Chapter 18

7And the king of Israel said to Jehoshaphat, 'There is still one man by whom we may inquire of the Lord, but I hate him, for he never prophesies anything good regarding me, but always bad. He is Micaiah the son of Imlah.' But Jehoshaphat said, 'May the king not say so.'
8Then the king of Israel summoned an officer and said, 'Bring Micaiah son of Imlah quickly.'

7And the king of Israel said unto Jehoshaphat, There is yet one man, by whom we may enquire of the Lord: but I hate him; for he never prophesied good unto me, but always evil: the same is Micaiah the son of Imla. And Jehoshaphat said, Let not the king say so. 8And the king of Israel called for one of his officers, and said, Fetch quickly Micaiah the son of Imla.

7The king of Israel said to Jehoshaphat, "There is still one man who can inquire of the Lord, but I hate him because he never prophesies good about me, but only disaster. He is Micaiah son of Imlah." "The king shouldn’t say that," Jehoshaphat replied.
8So the king of Israel called an officer and said, "Hurry and get Micaiah son of Imlah!"

7The king of Israel replied to Jehoshaphat, 'There is one more man who could consult the Lord for us, but I hate him. He never prophesies anything but trouble for me! His name is Micaiah son of Imlah.' Jehoshaphat replied, 'That’s not the way a king should talk! Let’s hear what he has to say.'
8So the king of Israel called one of his officials and said, 'Quick! Bring Micaiah son of Imlah.'
