Now the acts of Rehoboam, from the first to the last, are they not written in the records of Shemaiah the prophet and of Iddo the seer, according to genealogical enrollment? And
there were
wars between Rehoboam and Jeroboam continually.

Now the acts of Rehoboam, first and last,

they not written in the book of Shemaiah the prophet, and of Iddo the seer concerning genealogies? And
there were
wars between Rehoboam and Jeroboam continually.

Rehoboam did what was evil, because he did not determine in his heart to seek the Lord.

The events of Rehoboam's reign, from beginning to end, are written in the Events of the Prophet Shemaiah and of the Seer Iddo concerning genealogies. There was war between Rehoboam and Jeroboam throughout their reigns.

But he was an evil king, for he did not seek the
Lord
with all his heart.

The rest of the events of Rehoboam’s reign, from beginning to end, are recorded in
The Record of Shemaiah the Prophet
and
The Record of Iddo the Seer,
which are part of the genealogical record. Rehoboam and Jeroboam were continually at war with each other.
