1 Samuel 9:13-15

Chapter 9

13As soon as you enter the city you will find him before he goes up to the high place to eat, for the people will not eat until he comes, because he must bless the sacrifice; afterward those who are invited will eat. Now then, go up, for you will find him about this time.' 14So they went up to the city. As they came into the city, behold, Samuel was coming out toward them to go up to the high place.
15Now a day before Saul’s coming, the Lord had revealed this to Samuel, saying,

13As soon as ye be come into the city, ye shall straightway find him, before he go up to the high place to eat: for the people will not eat until he come, because he doth bless the sacrifice; and afterwards they eat that be bidden. Now therefore get you up; for about this time ye shall find him.
14And they went up into the city: and when they were come into the city, behold, Samuel came out against them, for to go up to the high place. 15Now the Lord had told Samuel in his ear a day before Saul came, saying,

14So they entered the town, and as they passed through the gates, Samuel was coming out toward them to go up to the place of worship.
