So the Philistines were subdued, and they did not come anymore within the border of Israel. And the hand of the
Lord
was against the Philistines all the days of Samuel.
14
The cities which the Philistines had taken from Israel were restored to Israel, from Ekron even to Gath; and Israel recovered their territory from the hand of the Philistines. So there was peace between Israel and the Amorites.
15
Now Samuel judged Israel all the days of his life.

So the Philistines were subdued, and they came no more into the coast of Israel: and the hand of the
Lord
was against the Philistines all the days of Samuel.

And the cities which the Philistines had taken from Israel were restored to Israel, from Ekron even unto Gath; and the coasts thereof did Israel deliver out of the hands of the Philistines. And there was peace between Israel and the Amorites.

And Samuel judged Israel all the days of his life.

So the Philistines were subdued and did not invade Israel’s territory again. The
Lord
’s hand was against the Philistines all of Samuel’s life.

The cities from Ekron to Gath, which they had taken from Israel, were restored; Israel even rescued their surrounding territories from Philistine control. There was also peace between Israel and the Amorites.

So the Philistines were subdued and didn’t invade Israel again for some time. And throughout Samuel’s lifetime, the
Lord
’s powerful hand was raised against the Philistines.

The Israelite villages near Ekron and Gath that the Philistines had captured were restored to Israel, along with the rest of the territory that the Philistines had taken. And there was peace between Israel and the Amorites in those days.

Samuel continued as Israel’s judge for the rest of his life.
