For
it is
time for judgment to begin with the household of God; and if
it begins
with us first, what

the outcome for those who do not obey the gospel of God?
18
AND IF IT IS WITH DIFFICULTY THAT THE RIGHTEOUS IS SAVED, WHAT WILL BECOME OF THE
God
LESS MAN AND THE SINNER?
King James Version
Chapter 4
17
For the time
is come
that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if
it
first
begin
at us, what shall the end
be
of them that obey not the gospel of God?
18
And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?
Christian Standard Bible

And if a righteous person is saved with difficulty, what will become of the ungodly and the sinner?
New Living Translation

17
For the time has come for judgment, and it must begin with God’s household. And if judgment begins with us, what terrible fate awaits those who have never obeyed God’s Good News?
18
And also,
'If the righteous are barely saved,
what will happen to godless sinners?'
English Standard Version

New International Version

New King James Version
