Chapter 23
24These were the sons of Levi according to their fathers’ households, the heads of the fathers’ households of those among them who were counted, in the number of names by their head count, doing the work for the service of the house of the Lord, from twenty years old and upward. 25For David said, 'The Lord God of Israel has given rest to His people, and He dwells in Jerusalem forever.King James Version

24These were the sons of Levi after the house of their fathers; even the chief of the fathers, as they were counted by number of names by their polls, that did the work for the service of the house of the LORD, from the age of twenty years and upward. 25For David said, The LORD God of Israel hath given rest unto his people, that they may dwell in Jerusalem for ever:Christian Standard Bible

24These were the descendants of Levi by their ancestral families--the family heads, according to their registration by name in the headcount--twenty years old or more, who worked in the service of the Lord's temple. 25For David said, "The Lord God of Israel has given rest to his people, and he has come to stay in Jerusalem forever.New Living Translation

24These were the descendants of Levi by clans, the leaders of their family groups, registered carefully by name.
